DevOps & AI Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

ShowBits turns unreleased podcast and TV episodes into social media packages. Behind it is a platform that analyses audio and video, runs AI models on GPUs and renders clips, as a cloud service from the EU and as an on-premise installation at the customer, without an internet connection if required. You help build this platform from the start.
What you will do
- Build and run our Kubernetes infrastructure in EU data centers, fully as infrastructure as code
- Run GPU workloads for transcription, analysis and rendering, including scaling and cost control
- Deploy and version AI models and connect external AI providers such as Gemini, Claude and ChatGPT
- CI/CD pipelines, Helm charts and versioned releases for cloud and on-premise, including offline packages for installations without internet
- Monitoring, logging, alerting and incident response
- Security and compliance: encryption, access concepts, vulnerability scanning, SBOMs and signed images, preparation for ISO 27001
What you bring
- Several years of experience as a DevOps, platform or site reliability engineer
- Confident with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker and infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or OpenTofu
- Experience with CI/CD, such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, and with observability tools
- Genuine affinity for AI: you want to run AI models in production and use AI tools in your own work
- Strong security awareness and a feel for data protection
- Excellent German or English
Nice to have
- Experience with GPU clusters, NVIDIA drivers and model serving
- Experience with media workflows, video encoding or FFmpeg
- Experience with installations at customer sites or in isolated networks
