About ShowBits

ShowBits is AI software that turns unreleased podcast and TV episodes into ready-to-post social media packages: clips, subtitles, thumbnails and captions, ready for editorial approval.

ShowBits analyses episodes before they are released, finds the strongest moments and turns them into clips in every common format, with animated subtitles and copy for each platform. Media houses use ShowBits as a cloud service from the EU or in their own data center, without an internet connection if required. ShowBits is a product of HBC Hohn Business Consulting UG, based in Berlin. Its founder is Philip Hohn, co-founder of the social media agency Granny.

Short bio

Philip Hohn is the founder of ShowBits, AI software that turns podcast and TV episodes into ready-to-post social media packages. Before that, he co-founded the social media agency Granny and grew it to four offices and up to 70 people, working with clients such as Netflix, Spotify and Disney.

Full bio

Philip Hohn has been an entrepreneur since 2004 and has founded eight companies. In 2016 he co-founded the social media agency Granny, which he grew as managing director and COO into an international group with offices in Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam and Los Angeles and up to 70 people. He was responsible for operations, the pitch teams and key accounts such as Spotify and Netflix Global. Before that, his agency apparent media built award-winning apps, including for Axel Springer.
